Direct sales and support for Bredel heavy duty hose pumps in additional European regions

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions (WMFTS) will provide direct sales, support and service of its Bredel range of heavy duty hose pumps in all regions from 1^st of January 2021.

This announcement is the final part of a phased transition to move away from the distribution of its Bredel range by distribution partner AxFlow Group.

Countries affected by the change are Finland, Norway, The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Portugal and Czech Republic (including Slovakia). All of these countries have existing or recently established sales offices staffed by WMFTS’s own experienced applications engineers and product specialists.

In the Czech Republic, WMFTS will also takeover direct sales and support of its Watson-Marlow and Alitea peristaltic pumps from AxFlow. To support this, a new WMFTS sales office has been established in Prague to service customers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

From a customer perspective, direct ‘in-country’ support from WMFTS’s expanded network of local offices will enable the provision of a deeper level of service and applications knowledge. For Bredel users, many of whom operate in harsh and challenging process environments, ready access to specialist product and applications expertise and rapid technical support - where needed - will be much welcomed.
