The Queen’s Award for Enterprise - International Trade 2017
The Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, Colonel Edward Bolitho OBE, will today present The Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2017 to Watson-Marlow Limited and BioPure Technology Limited (of Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions).
The award to Watson-Marlow, and BioPure, was originally announced on The Queen’s 91st Birthday in April. It reflects the company’s outstanding continuous growth of 76.6% in overseas sales over the judging period.
Today the Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, in his capacity as Her Majesty The Queen’s representative, visited Watson-Marlow to present their commemorative award. He was shown around the Company’s extensive manufacturing facilities in Falmouth and was also given an introduction to the BioPure range.
Watson-Marlow Limited is headquartered in Falmouth in Cornwall and is a leading manufacturer of peristaltic pumps and tubing. It is part of the Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions, a world leader in peristaltic technology and complete fluid path technologies. BioPure Technology Limited is based in Portsmouth, Hampshire and specialises in the design and manufacture of fluid path components for use in biotechnology and pharmaceutical processes.
