Tubing - peristaltic

Maxthane tubing elements

Overview

Maxthane tubing elements

Maxthane is the perfect choice for peristaltic dosing and metering applications. Fully recyclable thermoplastic polyurethane construction achieves high-performance pumping with reduced environmental impact. The quick-change Loadsure element design ensures easy changeover. The tubing elements are compatible with all types of vegetable oil and CIP chemicals.

Food-grade compliance

  • FDA regulations 21 CFR177.1680
  • EC1935/2004, EU 10/2011

Use Maxthane with 505LT and 520RET pumpheads.

Features and benefits

  • High-performance pumping with reduced environmental impact
  • Perfect for flavour, colour and additive dosing in food manufacturing
  • Food-grade compliance: FDA regulations 21 CFR177.1680, EC1935/2004, EU 10/2011

Test methods—Hardness: ASTM D 2240; Tear B: ISO 34-1B Tear nicked; Specific gravity: ISO 2781; Ultimate tensile strength, Elongation at break, Tensile stress at 100% elongation; ISO 527-2/5A/500; Vicat softening point: ISO 306 (A50); Abrasion resistance: ISO 4649-B. Values reported above are not intended for sales specification and some properties are not routinely measured. May discolour to a darker shade of yellow with UV exposure. For occasional use the maximum operating temperature is 65 °C (149 °F). Do not steam sterilise articles made with thermoplastic polyurethanes—Methylene dianiline can be generated as a result.
