Visit our stand to learn more about how our pumps help cheese makers maintain high product integrity and avoid waste.
Our peristaltic and sinusoidal pumps enable companies to optimise efficiencies and increase productivity while reducing energy costs, water use, and waste with shear-sensitive pumping.
WMFTS supplies pump and hose solutions for dairy companies of all sizes. From producing 2,000 litre vat production rates to 100,000 tonnes of cheese per year from 830 million litres of milk, WMFTS has a solution to meet your needs.
Discover how Certa Sine® pumps from MasoSine improve reliability and yield in cheese production, while also reducing energy costs. Certa are very easy to clean and perfect for handling viscous products or fluids. Unlike traditional pumps with rotors that cut through the fluid, Certa’s sinusoidal rotor gently carries fluid through the pump to dramatically reduce shear, while cutting power consumption by up to 50% with high viscosity fluids.
In cheese making, it is essential to maintain high product integrity and avoid waste. For cheese applications, the Certa Sine pump reduces process costs when handling delicate or highly viscous products. The pump’s reduction of the number of fines and retention of fat and moisture within the cheese curds ensures product integrity therefore reducing wastage. It also allows for an improvement in yield, enabling an increased quantity of manufactured product from the same amount of milk that can result in savings of more than 20%. In comparison to a lobe pump, for example, yield can be increased by reducing fines content by approximately 27%. For high-volume cheese plants, 900g per tonne soon amounts to a significant saving, where return-on-investment is achievable within six months.
In addition, the Qdos® range of chemical metering pumps offer reliable and cost-effective performance for water and waste treatment in a wide range of food and beverage processing plants and applications. Qdos pumps have an accuracy of ±1% and repeatability of ±0.5%, and this accuracy results in reduced chemical costs and contributes to less emissions with fewer chemical deliveries. Qdos H-FLO, the latest addition to the range, is designed specifically for higher flow rates up to 600 L/hr.
The Watson-Marlow 530 pump, with its robust and simple construction, can be easily operated by different personnel to deliver unrivalled accuracy. With a simple-to-use HMI which requires minimal key presses during operation, this pump is self-priming and capable of dry running.
