Distinguished by invention

A world leader in niche peristaltic pump manufacture and associated fluid path technologies

Every day, we help companies across the globe to be more efficient and sustainable.

Since 1956, we have been manufacturing positive displacement pumps and providing engineering support to a range of industries. We started in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, where the inventor Bernard Refson developed the first technically, and commercially, viable peristaltic pump for use outside the laboratory.

In 1969, we moved to our base in Falmouth, Cornwall. We have since expanded geographically to serve over 60 markets worldwide. We are formed of 10 leading brands, each a specialist in niche fluid transfer technologies. In 1990 we became part of Spirax Group plc, a FTSE100 company. As part of Spirax Group, our shared purpose is to create sustainable value for all our stakeholders as we engineer a more efficient, safer and sustainable world.

We are problem solvers. Our people around the world are specialists in the work they do, and the company is structured to empower and support individuals. This extends to the products and services we provide our customers who have come to know us for our quality.
